E4 searching for promising young flash designer, Tiga welcomes initiative

TV station looking for master Flash developer

Games industry group Tiga has applauded the efforts of UK digital channel E4 in its search for the UK’s most promising Flash games designer.

The competition, entitled Grand Master Flash, is offering £5,000 to a winning entrant who has in the last year developed a game using Adobe Flash.

To support the competition, TIGA will be offering the winner and two runners up the chance to showcase their work on the tiga.org home page and in the top portfolios section – a space designed to profile new talent.

“We want to help young talent in the long term, by providing them with a route to showcase their work to potential employers in the games industry,” said Tiga project manager Lorna Evans.
