Deadline set for Tuesday, May 15th.

Two weeks left for Develop Award lobbying

There are just 14 days left for development studios, publishers and services companies to make their finalist suggestions for the 2007 Develop Industry Excellence Awards.

Taking place on July 25th at the Hilton Metropole Hotel in Brighton, the awards acknowledge the best performers in games development over the past 12 months.

Developers, their IP, innovations and business strategy are all up for scrutiny and praise, with awards including Best Independent Studio, Best New IP and Business Development. Service companies, recruitment firms and tools providers are also rewarded, as are the efforts by publishers to support the games development sector.

To make a suggestion for your company or a development partner, send through an email to Develop editor Michael French at michael.french@intentmedia.co.uk. It’s completely free to make a suggestion and every entry will be read by the Develop team before finalists are chosen.

A Q&A detailing the categories in full can be downloaded here – the deadline for lobbying is Tuesday, May 15th.

The finalists will be announced in a special supplement provided with the June issue of Develop, and winners will be voted for by a panel of almost 100 development sector experts and senior professionals.
