The NASSCOM Game Developer Conference (NGDC) has announced that it will be partnering with Unity Technologies to bring the Unite development conference to India for the first time.

The NGDC, which is running from November 8th – 11th will have Unite India running concurrently with the show, which is expected to have over 3000 delegates attending for 2017.

"Having NGDC and Unite running in the same venue over 5 days will be of incredible value to the developer
ecosystem," said chairman of the NASSCOM Gaming Forum, Rajesh Rao. "With a line-up of veteran speakers that will be announced soon, NGDC 2017 is the region’s go to games conference for both regional developers and international visitors.”

"We are proud to partner with NASSCOM Game Developer Conference to bring our popular Unite conference to India for the first time,” said Unity Technologies director of South Asia/ANZ, Quentin Staes-Polet. “Unite has a worldwide presence and each year it grows because it provides the perfect listening platform to help us solve hard problems for creators. This year we are focusing on developments in our game engine, including the new tools that will increase collaboration between artists and programmers. We chose Hyderabad because of its vibrant entrepreneurial culture and we feel that it’s an amazing place to bring together developers to collaborate and to learn from each other; a key part of what makes our community stronger.”

No speakers are confimed yet for the show but the deadline for submissions is July 31st. You can apply by clicking here.

The talks will be curated by the NGDC and the International Advisory Council which includes Carl Cavers or Sumo Digital and Rami Ismail of Vlambeer. For more information on the conference, visit the NGDC website: http://www.nasscom.in/ngdc2017/
