Vicious Engine on Xbox Live Arcade

The Vicious Engine has had its first application to Xbox Live Arcade, having been chosen by Frozen Codebase for their upcoming title Elements of Destruction.

“Our experience with the Vicious Engine allowed us to bring Elements of Destruction to our audience far faster than we had thought possible,” said Ben Geisler, programmer and co-producer at Frozen Codebase.

“Using the same middleware for an Xbox LIVE Arcade title as one might use for a full retail release helped our team adapt to the process quickly and easily.”

Eric Peterson, president and CEO of Vicious Cycle Software, added: “We’ve worked closely with the team at Frozen Codebase to make sure that the Vicious Engine is optimized for Xbox LIVE Arcade. Elements of Destruction truly illustrates the versatility of the Vicious Engine and its capabilities.”
