VIDEO: Doom to hit shelves this May

Bethesda has revealed a May release date for its upcoming Doom title.

The bloody shooter will be launching on May 13th for PlayStation 4, Xbox One and PC. It was announced to the public at last year’sBethesda Showcase at E3after being teased in 2014’s Wolfenstein: The New Order’s marketing campaign.

It was revealed alongside Fallout 4 and The Elder Scrolls Legends.

In addition, to the standard edition, publisher Bethesda is also releasing a collectors edition which comes with a 12” statue of The Revenant demon. This is going to set consumers back 99.99.

The title is being developed by iD Software, and is a return to the series’ violent, shooter roots following the survival horror-influenced Doom 3.
