A Microsoft listing for the PC compatible version of Kinect suggests the peripheral will have a very high RRP.
The UK store currently lists the device for 159.99, with the US store pricing it at $199.99.
This SKU is specifically designed to run with the Kinect for Windows SDK 2.0 dev software.
Of course, with Xbox One now available without Kinect in the box, Microsoft has said that a standalone version for the console will be launching in the near future. Whether or not that will carry the same RRP remains to be seen.
Xbox boss Phil Spencer argued last month that removing Kinect from the Xbox One box will actually lead to an increase in sales of the camera.
