Xbox One was Amazon UK’s biggest console launch ever. PS4 will beat it

Xbox One broke Amazon UK’s record for the fastest and biggest console launch in history.

Good news for Microsoft but better news for Sony, because according to the online retail giant, PS4 is going to beat that.

PS4 is currently the No.1 pre-order items on the firm’s video game chart, and it’s also No.1 in the Video Game Wished For charts. It’s also set to be a major Christmas present for many, as it is also No.1 as the PC and Video Games Most Gifted item.

Amazon is a good barometer for a console’s success as it sits behind GAME as the UK’s biggest games retailer.

The operation to deliver a new PlayStation to Amazon customers on release day is well underway,” Amazon’s VP of EU Retail Xavier Garambois said.
