Dance Paradise confirmed for Kinect

Mindscape and Universal Music have announced that Dance Paradise will go on sale as Kinect launches on November 10th.

The new game will go up against rival Kinect motion-sensing dance titles at launch including Microsoft’s Dance Central and Konami’s Dance Evolution.

Dance Paradise includes 40 hip hop, pop and dance tracks with official videos, while additional songs available to download on Xbox Live.

The track list features Daft Punk’s ‘Around the World’, Lady Gaga’s ‘Bad Romance’ and Taio Cruz’s ‘Break Your Heart’. The game also uses players’ Xbox avatars and up to two users can dance at once.

In a press release Mindscape said: Everyone can bust a move on Dance Paradise thanks to a playlist and dance sequences which have been designed for all tastes and all levels.

This is an ultra-complete dance game which will appeal to children, parents, fans of classic hits and even the most die-hard of clubbers.”

Other upcoming dance games on Wii include Ubisoft’s Just Dance 2 – due for release on October 15th – and Michael Jackson: The Experience in November. The latter title has been delayed to Q1 2011 on Kinect and PlayStation Move.
