Peak Games acquires Kammelna

The Saudi Arabian card gaming site Kammelna has been acquired by Peak Games.

Peak Games, the makers of Happy Farm, are the leading social games company in the Middle East.

The deal, reported by Gamasutra, shows that the Turkish company is planning on expanding its hold on the market in the Middle East North Africa region.

Saudi Arabia, the publisher claims, has one of the largest average revenue per user ratios in the world.

The MENA region is currently underserved, but Peak Games says it can be quite lucrative, and expects it to have over 400 million active social gamers by 2015.

Kammelna is known for its online card game, Baloot, and Peak hopes to extend the reach of this popular offering by placing it on Facebook and other social web platforms.

Peak Games is headquartered in Istanbul, with offices in Ankara, Barcelona, Berlin, and San Francisco
