UK indies Big Head Games is to embark on a new hiring operation this year, the company has announced, after establishing a new studio in Newcastle.
The group said it is now a fully independent self-publisher on digital platforms, working on a range of platforms from iOS to PSN, Vita, XBLA, PC and Mac.
“We have taken this bold step as we believe we can build an exciting publishing business on the back of our existing iOS, Android and PSP successes,” said managing director Dave Vout.
“These are very exciting times for small-to-medium sized developers who take advantage of the opportunities out there,” he added.
