2012 Global Game Jam ‘to break attendance records’

The forth annual Global Game Jam is expected to break attendance records with a total 10,000 developers set to attend, organisers have said.

Last year the quick-fire game creation event drew in about 6,500 participants who together developed nearly 1,500 games.

The 2012 edition, sponsored by the International Game Developers Association, fires the gun on Friday Jan 27th with 46 nations participating.

Teams of five will have just the weekend to build their game.
