Unofficial Skyrim map app heading to iOS

Providing it can elude the somewhat over-active reach of Bethesda’s lawyers, a Elder Scrolls V: Skyrim app is heading to iOS.

Called Dragon Shout, the download contains a fully interactive Skyrim map that allows gamers to set their own markers, complete with annotations. This can be used for marking down the location of key artefacts such as dragon bones or loot if your inventory is currently full.

Crucially this functionality isn’t offered in the full Skyrim game.

Later updates to the app will also add some social networking features, TouchArcade reports.

The app is currently undergoing Apple’s submissions process and could be out within a matter of days.
