Keyboard and mouse peripheral coming to PS3

Acclaimed joystick manufacturer HORI is to release a keyboard and mouse peripheral for PS3.

Destructoid reports that the device has been given a US release date of November 1st and will retail for $99.

The accessory comes in two parts – the first, a single hand 11-button mini-keyboard complete with Home button and d-pad and the second an eight-button mouse including a scroll wheel.

Note, though, that the PS3 is already compatible with standard USB keyboards and mice.

There’s no word yet on a UK release date or price.
