EB Games confirms attendees for EB EXPO

Although many more publishers and developers are still to come, EB Games has confirmed the attendance all platforms holders as well as THQ, Sega, Ubisoft, EA, 2K, Activision, Namco Bandai and several others for the EB EXPO in October.

EB EXPO will take place on the Gold Coast on October 15 and 16 this year with a 15’000 person capacity. It will also play host to EB Live, at the massive 2000 seat arena of the Gold Coast Exhibition and Convention Centre. With it, EB Games is expanding its EB internal conference (in which publishers and developers present their games to EB staff) to include general public admission, making it the largest show of its kind Australia has ever hosted.

Debra McGrath, EB Games national brand and marketing manager, said: The EB EXPO is all about people getting hands on with this year’s biggest titles prior to their release and generally showcasing this amazing industry we work in.”

While the line-up for EB Live hasn’t been announced yet, we are excited at the prospect of being able to offer our customers a unique experience to get up close and personal with the brains behind some of the world’s most successful games and franchises.”

The EB internal conferences have previously hosted speakers such as Randy Pitchford (Gearbox), Martin Edmonson (Ubisoft Reflections), Dr. Gregory P. Zeschuk (Bioware) and Cliff Blezinski (Epic Games).
