What is LA Noire’s ‘Rockstar Pass’?

Microsoft last night released its latest Xbox Live release schedule and the inclusion of something called the ‘LA Noire Rockstar Pass’ add-on has certainly caught the eye.

"In celebration of launch on May 17th take your LA Noire experience to the next level," is the only detail offered in the brief description.

Joystiq speculates that it could all be connected to a scheme resembling EA’s Online Pass that rewards those who buy the game new to access free content. Pre-owned buyers have to either do without or pay extra for a new pass.

MCV has contacted Rockstar for clarification.
