Travis Steiner jumps ship for unspecified startup after big game release

Lead SOCOM 4 designer leaves Zipper

Lead designer on Zipper Interactive’s SOCOM 4 Travis Steiner (right) has left his job at the US-based company to start work at an unnamed startup studio.

The move comes only a few days after SOCOM 4’s North American and worldwide releases on the 19th and 21st of April respectively.

News of the move appeared first on Steiner’s LinkedIn profile, before later being confirmed by Zipper community manager Jeremy Dunham on Twitter.

“We all wish him the best,” Dunham wrote.

The move ends Steiner’s eight-year stint at Zipper, during which time he contributed to both the SOCOm and MAG franchises.
