Gem recruits leisure vendor manager

Gem Distribution has appointed Lee Shuffield as vendor manager for leisure.

Shuffield boasts more than 20 years of sales, account management and licensing experience, having working at games firms such as Playlogic, Ghostlight, Empire Interactive and Venom.

In his new role, he will manage Gem’s relationships with a variety of the distributor’s leisure vendors, including Ubisoft and Kalypso Media, helping to ensure all releases are supported with key sales tools and promotion activity.

He will also serve as a link between all Gem departments including the newly rebranded Gem Creative. He will report directly to general sales and purchasing manager Tracey Tennison.

Lee joins the team at a very exciting time for Gem as we look to upsurge the leisure sector of our business,” said Tennison. With his insights into the complexities of distribution he’ll be able to deliver a detailed agile approach to driving our vendors plans.”
