Activision slashes music game prices

Publisher Activision has dropped the price of both Guitar Hero: Warriors of Rock and DJ Hero 2 in North America.

Joystiq reports that both games have seen between $10 and $20 slashed from their various range of SKUs on the High Street.

MCV has asked Activision, but there’s no word yet about whether the publisher is to officially follow suit in the UK.

However, retailers such as GAME are already offering substantial discounts on the titles.

DJ Hero 2 is currently available for 69.98 on Xbox 360 – that’s a 40 saving over the RRP. There’s also 50 off the Twin Turntable bundle.

The same’s true of Warriors of Rock, which currently has around 30 shaved off the Guitar Pack and anything between 65 and 90 taken off the Complete Band Pack.
