Rush of new speakers for Develop Liverpool

A new wave of key developers have been confirmed to attend the Develop In Liverpool Conference.

Traveller’s Tales, Evolution Studios, Blitz Games Studios, Bizarre Creations, Disney Black Rock and Codemasters have all been confirmed to speak at the 25 November show.

The event’s opening keynote will have SCEE senior director Mick Hocking explore his vision for a S3D future with the help of a cinema screen.

Meanwhile, Evolution Studios game director Matt Southern will present the making of MotorStorm: Apocalypse, with insight into the origins and collaborative development of the new title.

Blitz Games Studios will also be attending the show, with its CEO Philip Oliver presenting what is billed as a “frank evaluation of the difficulties of developing” a Kinect launch title.

“This year’s conference programme offers delegates the opportunity to hear experienced and successful developers share their expertise and insight,” said Tandem Events director Andy Lane.

“Most importantly, it will give them practical advice and useful information to take back to their studios and help them develop better games.”
