Popular engine group to widen available platforms

Trinigy launches browser game engine

Vision Engine vendor Trinigy has launched a new game development framework tailored specifically for browser game creation.

Known as WebVision, the framework is said will incorporate the feature set and modular design of the popular Vision Engine.

The new platform will be free only for Vision Engine licensees.

Developers can build 2D or 3D browser-based games with the platform, Trinigy said, with “rich graphics, believable AI, physics, effects and more”.

Trinigy Managing director Dag Frommhold said the engine exists as an answer to the growing popularity of browser-based gaming.

“WebVision now extends our flexible Vision Engine to developers of browser-based games and allows them to capitalise on all of its advanced features in order to bring games with stunning visual quality and immersive gameplay to browsers,” he said.
