Xploder selling MW2 game saves

Once the cornerstone of many gamers’ habit, the advent of Achievements and Trophies has not been kind to the cheats sector – but now specialist Xploder is trying a new sales model that it hopes will reignite the market.

The firm is currently offering a one-off gamesave download for Activision’s Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 2 on PS3. Once downloaded and installed the game becomes 100% unlocked, with all weapons and levels immediately accessible.

It’s the first time that specific game cheats have been available to buy without purchasing the full Xploder software pack. The gamesave costs 79p.

Users are required to download and install the Xploder software onto a PC. The gamesave can then be transferred by USB memory stick to the PS3.

The press release reads: So you’re playing Modern Warfare 2 and you’re stuck. No matter how many times you try… that sniper picks you off with one shot, why not side step him and other obstacles? Use a campaign unlocked gamesave from Xploder and move on to the next stage, you can always go back and try again later… and hey we won’t tell if you don’t!”

A similar download is also available for Ubisoft’s Avatar game.
