MMO studio bags former Bungie senior visual designer

More key hires for En Masse

New online game outfit En Masse is growing from its formation with a string of key hires.

The group has secured creative director Aaron LeMay, an experienced industry professional touted for his former position at Bungie as senior visual designer.

The company has also bagged PR guru Matt Atwood, network operations director Markus Schweig and writer David Noonan.

Based in Washington, En Masse Entertainment is a new publisher with an aim to transform eastern games to better suit western audiences.

En Masse is comprised of talent from the likes of Blizzard Entertainment, Microsoft, Electronic Arts, ArenaNet, and – notably – NCsoft.

The group’s CTO, Jae Heon Yang, departed from NCsoft back in December 2007. Seven years prior he helped develop Sephiroth, known to be one of the first 3D MMOs ever released in Asia.

The remaining senior staff at En Masse all join the group from recent posts at NCsoft, from COO Patrick Wyatt, senior producer Brian Knox and publishing VP Chris Lee.

“We want En Masse Entertainment to serve as a magnet for creative talent," says En Masse CEO Jae-Heon Yang.

"As we build toward the launch of Tera, we are adding veteran strength to all facets of the company to ensure a topnotch Action MMO experience for our customers."
