US: FFXIII tops 1m sales

Having been on shelves for less than a week, Square Enix’s latest RPG epic Final Fantasy XIII has already passed the 1m sales barrier in the US.

Destructoid also reports that that game in now the fastest ever selling Final Fantasy title in the US – echoing the very same sales record that it set in the UK.

It’s worth noting that on this side of the Atlantic the game shot straight to the top of the ELSPA GfK Chart-Track All Formats Top 40, becoming the fastest selling game of the year so far in the region.
