Miyamoto: Pikmin 3 well under way

Development of Pikmin 3 is well under way”, according to a recent comment from Official Nintendo Magazine.

The publication left a post on their Twitter feed saying: ONM is at the BAFTAs. Miyamoto just told us Pikmin 3 development is well under way."

No other details including release window, gameplay details and format have been revealed.

The first two Pikmin titles were originally released on the Gamecube and were re-produced on the Wii last year with motion controls. It’s likely the third RTS adventure game will also be available for the Wii.

Shigeru Miyamoto picked up a lifetime achievement award at the video game BAFTAs. He created many of Nintendo’s original franchises, including Mario and Zelda.
