ELSPA to rebrand this summer

Trade organisation The Entertainment and Leisure Software Publishers Association, otherwise known as ELSPA, has confirmed that it is to change its name to the UK Interactive Entertainment Association.

The proposal was made and approved at today’s extraordinary general meeting. The organisation will continue under the name ELSPA for the time being, with the change expected to be completed before the summer.

A statement reads: The ELSPA Board proposed the change to the organisation’s name to reflect the evolving and expanding nature of the industry, which the association exists to represent, and to encompass the new areas of activity that will be undertaken.

ELSPA will be engaging regularly with its members during the process to learn their views and wishes for the new organisation.”
