Bethesda to publish Hunted

Hunted: The Demon’s Forge, the latest game from the brains behind Baldur’s Gate and Fallout, InXile, will be published by Bethesda Softworks.

Founder of developer InXile Entertainment, Brian Fargo, said: We are thrilled to be working with Bethesda Softworks on this upcoming release that takes us back to our roots.”

Vlatko Andonov, President of Bethesda Softworks added: We believe gamers will be really excited with what the extremely talented inXile team has in store for them.”

Hunted: The Demon’s Forge will go on sale for the Xbox 360, PC and PS3. Other upcoming games from publisher Bethesda, which is owned by ZeniMax, include Brink, Fallout: New Vegas and Rage.

As a third-person co-op dark fantasy action game, Hunted allows players to go up against waves of vicious enemies. It promises a range of weapons, powerful spells and co-op-based puzzles throughout dungeons, ruins and towns.

Fargo founded InXile in 2002, and has worked on a range of successful franchises including Baldur’s Gate and Fallout. Hunted’s director Michael Kaufmann has also worked on Kingpin and Return to Castle Wolfenstein.
