Lovell on the games that fell apart

Duke Nukem Forever, Haze, Tabula Rasa – what’s the common link?

According to game industry consultant Nicholas Lovell, these were just some of the games that cashed, burned and smouldered throughout the last decade.

In his thorough analysis piece, Lovell explains he’s not just listing games that were merely bad.

“I’m talking about games that took down companies,” he says. “Some of them were never released. Some of them came out and no-one cared. Some of them even made decent sales – just nowhere near enough to cover the costs.”

The full list of Lovell’s flops can be found here.
