Next COD heading to Vietnam?

It’s not the first time such talk has done the rounds, but rumours that the next Call of Duty title will be set in Vietnam have once again resurfaced.

OXM
claims that the title will take inspiration from cult films such as Apocalypse Now, Platoon and Full Metal Jacket.

Following the ongoing success of Infinity Ward’s Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 2 since its release last November, little is known of the series’ next outing due out later this year.

Following the pattern set since Call of Duty 2, Treyarch will be developing the next instalment. To date Treyarch’s efforts have all focused on WWII, but the success of Modern Warfare proves that Activision isn’t afraid to experiment with the IP.
