Job vacancies suggest the Chicago-based studio is returning to Hawk

Robomodo in new â??extreme sports projectâ??

Chicago-based studio Robomodo has likely secured a development deal with Activision to create the next game in the Tony Hawk franchise.

Not before Robomodo sees the release of its debut project, Tony Hawk Ride, the developer has fifteen new job vacancies posted on recruitment site CreativeHeads.

Each of the fifteen job postings seek staff for its newest project, currently described as an ‘extreme sports game’.

The job postings – unearthed by game industry blogger ‘Superannuation’ – make strong indications that Robomodo is working on the successor to Ride.

Robomodo – formed from the ashes of EA Chicago in September last year – was given the contract to work on Activision’s lucrative Tony Hawk franchise after long-time developer Neversoft was relieved of the obligation.
