E3 '09 Xbox 360 version to receive two timed exclusive DLC packages

Microsoft strikes DLC deal for Modern Warfare 2

Two download packages for Infinity Ward’s Modern Warfare 2 are set to be timed exclusives for the Xbox 360.

John Schappert – Microsoft’s Vice President of Interactive Entertainment, Software and Services – made the announcement at the company’s E3 press conference in the packed Galen Centre in Los Angeles.

The announcement followed an in-game live demonstration of the title, showing a new level set upon an ice-covered mountain top. The demonstration was reminiscent of the Chernobyl display made at E3 2007.

It is not known how long the timed exclusivity deal is set to last.
