GDC 09: XNA competition starts Monday, April 6th

The third XNA Dream Build Play competition will start on Monday April 6th, Microsoft revealed today.

Aspiring developers will be able to submit their XNA Game Studio-developed games from this date to battle it out for a cash prize and Xbox Live Arcade publishing contract. Winners will be announced sometime in Autumn.

According to the company, last year’s competition saw 10,000 people enroll and 350 games submitted for the competition, with several of the titles, such as Weapon of Choice, going on to be top sellers on the Xbox Live Community Games channel.
