Brash closure caused 'significant hardships', says studio

Sensory Sweep responds to lawsuit

Sensory Sweep – the Utah-based studio currently under fire for not paying its staff – has responded to the injunction brought against it by the federal government.

Speaking to Kotaku, the firm denied some of the allegations and said that it was working out a solution with investigators.

"Sensory Sweep has undergone some significant hardships since Brash Entertainment went out of business," said Sensory Sweep vice president Chris Rushton.

"We dispute some of the factual claims listed online regarding our business situation. We are working out an agreement with the Department of Labor. We are very grateful to our employees who have been working so hard alongside us to get through these troubled times."
