New director of sales for Europe boosts headcount at Brighton office

Paul Gorry joins Babel Media

Babel Media has appointed Paul Gorry as director of sales for Europe, who will assume responsibility for mobile, PC and console business development.

Joining the team at the company’s Brighton office, Gorry brings ten years of experience in the UK games industry, which has seen him employed at Arena Mobile UK, Eidos Interactive and GPS International.

Keith Russell, vice president of sales and marketing at Babel said: “It is great to bring Paul onboard, finding someone that could understand the diverse needs of our PC-console customers as well as mobile customers was not easy, then finding someone with that unique ability to fit into the Babel ethos and understand our ‘customer first’ mentality was harder still, but in Paul I am confident we have found the right man.”

The arrival of Gorry at Babel coincides with the company’s ongoing growth since its acquisition by Indian outsourcing giant Quatrro.
