Games Convention Asia 2009 announced

Leipziger Messe International has revealed that the third Games Convention Asia will be held on November 17th-20th in Singapore. The four-day event will also for the first day reserve entry just for gaming professionals.

The Games Convention Asia Conference will also run alongside the public exhibition.

“By extending the show for another day, we are meeting the needs and requests of both the industry and supporting government associations,” Leipziger Messe International general manager Jorg Zeissig stated.

“With the growing success of the show year and the interest in the region, it was a logical decision to grow and extend the show while providing a dedicated day where the industry can focus on business to business opportunities prior to the consumer segment.”

UPDATE: Leipziger Messe has today (28/11) amended the date for GCA Asia 2009. The even will now take place on September 17th-20th.
