Free web MMO played in '150 countries'

Ankama celebrates ten million Dofus players

French independent developer Ankama has revealed that its free-to-play MMO DOFUS has passed the ten million member mark.

Initially released in France in September 2004, DOFUS is currently available in seven languages, with a further three set for release soon.

30 per cent of the Flash game’s player base are non French-speakers, with ‘150 countries’ apparently represented. But perhaps more impressive is that 1.5 million of those ten million players are paid subscribers.
