Mirrors Edge dated

Much-hyped DICE title Mirror’s Edge has been confirmed for release on November 11th in the US, and November 14th in the UK.

The first-person action title will hit PS3 and Xbox 360 simultaneously, with a PC SKU scheduled for ‘later in the winter’. A demo of the EA-published release will appear on Live and PSN prior to launch.

Mirror’s Edge is bringing something new to the action-adventure genre this holiday by putting the player in the shoes of the hero, seeing what she sees, feeling what she feels," said DICE senior producer Owen O’Brien.

We wanted to create an entirely new experience, with a different type of heroine and a world that not only looks fresh and new but has unique gameplay.”
