SCi plans major rebrand

SCi Entertainment’s Board has recommended that the firm changes its name to Eidos PLC.

According to CEO Phil Rogers: The Board feels that it would be beneficial to align the name of the listed Company to the strong product brand that Eidos represents in order to benefit from a single identity and clearer outward and internal communication.”

The name change will be proposed at the company’s annual general meeting on December 2nd.

The news came in the company’s preliminary 12-month results for FY 2008.
