Germany, Japan and China ban Dead Space?

Following the news that EA has brought the release date for Dead Space forward, reports have emerged that the title has been banned in several territories across the world.

Germany, Japan and China are all said to have vetoed the release of the sci-fi horror game, according to Dead Space community manager Andrew Green, talking to www.destructoid.com. EA may be forced to censor the title to ensure it sees the light of day in those countries.

Dead Space, brought forward from its original Halloween release date is now set for an October 24th release in the UK. The title puts gamers into the shoes of engineer Isaac Clarke in a fight for survival in space, against a vicious alien infestation.
