Nintendo reassures retail over Wii Fit sell-out

Nintendo has responded to reports in national newspapers that it is set to ‘run out’ of Wii Fit stock, telling MCV that it is bringing in units every week”.

Both The Daily Mail and Daily Telegraph this morning reported that the popular fitness game would be unavailable in the festive season – due to massive demand and a stock shortage.

However, a Nintendo UK spokesperson told MCV:

We’re bringing in stock every week across the UK and monitoring the current situation and sales at retail."

Last month, the title failed to chart for three weeks as retailers struggled to get their hands on stock.
