E3 08: Wii Sports 2 confirmed

Nintendo has announced its long-awaited sequel to its popular Wii Sports, dubbed Wii Sports Resort.

The game will come bundled with the recently announced WiiMotion Plus plug-in that attaches to the Wii Remote, providing precise 1:1 movement mapping.

The title was demonstrated at Nintendo’s E3 conference in LA this morning, with top US execs Reggie Fils-Aime and Cammie Dunaway battling it out in mini-games including sword fighting and ‘doggy discuss’.
