Chimera gets Xbox, Wii and DS dev licenses

German developer Chimera Entertainment has obtained licenses to develop for Microsoft’s Xbox 360 and Nintendo’s Wii and DS platforms.

The studio recently released Windchaser for the PC, and is currently working on ‘concrete projects and game prototypes for the platforms with the use of new middleware technologies’.

Christian Kluckner, technical director at Chimera Entertainment, said: “We are very excited to see how our new concepts are translated to the different platforms.”

Managing director Hendrik Lesser added: “I am confident that the entry on the console sector will formidably advance Chimera Entertainment internationally. The creative potential of the team is enormous and the possibilities are endless.”
