Senior VP of game design at WoW developer to be quizzed about the future of the studio

Blizzard’s Pardo to deliver Paris GDC Q&A keynote

The final keynote for Paris GDC has been named, with Blizzard’s Rob Pardo set to take to the stage for a live interview with GDC executive director Jamil Moledina.

Pardo’s talk will cover the lessons learned and future for the studio behind MMO megahit World of Warcraft.

Paris GDC takes place on June 23rd and 24th at the Coeur Défense Convention Centre in Paris.

“Developers across the world know that game development is a challenging, hit-driven business — regardless of genre, geography, or platform,” said Moledina.

“Pardo and the developers at Blizzard Entertainment however have cracked the code, and our discussion will focus on the key components of the company’s hit-making process – with the goal of providing our attendees with better odds for winning.”
