THQ Wireless opens new San Diego facility

THQ Wireless, the mobile game arm of publisher THQ, has opened a new studio in San Diego, California.

The office will be home to all of the publisher’s main processes, including game design, production management, porting, QA testing and deployment.

Currently only 30 people are working at the centre, which is helped by vice president of operations Lauren Thorpe, but it plans to expand significantly within the next few months.
