Senior execs from Havok and ATI join programming team at Stockholm studio

Key hires boost Avalanche’s Central Tech Group

Stockholm’s Avalanche has grown its Central Technology Group with the hiring of former Havok man John Fuller and ATI’s Emil Persson.

Fuller joined Havok at its founding and has been the middleware firm’s european sales manager. Meanwhile, Persson has long-running relationships with a number of the world’s developers – at ATI he assisted a number of studios including Epic Games, DICE, Avalanche Studios, Raven Software, Humanhead and CryTek.

“We are very proud to add John Fuller and Emil Persson to our Central Technology Group,” said co-founder and technical director Linus Blomberg.

“Their experience and exceptional skills is a very welcome addition to this very special department of Avalanche Studios.”
