SCEE swoops in to All Stars

SCEE has made an eleventh hour move to take part in tomorrow’s Industry All Stars event, hosted by Game Horizon, with George Bain, account manager at SCEE giving a presentation about developing for PlayStation Network.

Bain has been with SCEE for ten years, joining in 1997 as an engineer working on PSone and the Net Yaroze platform and later senior engineer, researching advanced programming techniques for the PS2 platform.

From 2004 to the European launch of PS3, he served as developer support manager providing support services for all PlayStation family platforms. Having joined SCEE Third Party Relations department recently, he now works closely with studios across Europe and Australasia.

In his talk, he will provide an overview of exciting PlayStation Network features that developers can use to enhance the online gaming experience, explain the process of how to create and publish downloadable games including the SDK toolkit and functionality, and offer an introduction to the Home platform.
