Volition developers split for Blazing Lizard

Three developers have separated from American development house Volition to establish a new company, Blazing Lizard.

Sandeep Shekar, Jiovanie Velazquez, and Christopher Stockman left Volition to focus on producing high quality downloadable titles for a wide demographic.

Velazquez served at Volition as studio artist manager, while Shekar and Stockman lead the design team for the Xbox 360 title Saints Row.

The company’s first title, an original IP, is set to be announced on August 13th.
