Recoil teams up with 3D Realms

The new issue of Game Informer has spilled the beans on a new project from 3D Realms which is being co-produced with new games studio Recoil Games.

Called Earth No More, the PS3/360/PC shooter is due out in 2009.

Recoil was founded earlier this year by game company founded by ex-Remedy staffer Samuli Syvahuoko and it’s clear that he made use of his contacts when going solo: Samuli worked on Max Payne at Remedy – funding, design direction and marketing of the game was handled by 3D Realms.

The company’s comments on the new game can be found at the official 3D Realms site.
