‘Next-gen’ MMO touted on developer’s recruitment pages.

Blizzard working on new MMO

As if the world-conquering success of Blizzard’s World of Warcraft is not enough, the Vivendi-owned developer appears to be hard at work on another MMO project, the details of which are currently unknown.

New postings on Blizzard’s job pages online state that it is actively searching for programmers for a ‘next-generation massively multiplayer online game’.

Speculation has linked the postings to a possible console MMO, maybe set in the Starcraft universe.

Blizzard is scheduled to make a number of announcements at the upcoming WorldWide Invitational in Seoul, South Korea, on May 19th.
