Develop can reveal that Australian developer conference GO3 has scored another big-name speaker, this time enticing Metal Gear Solid creator Hideo Kojima to head over to Perth.

Kojima going to GO3

As noted previously on Developmag.com, GO3 is designed as the Australasian version of events like GDC and the consumer-facing parts of the London Games Festival, taking place from March 30th to April 1st.

The show features a raft of games events for both the development sector and consumers, including an expo, developers’ conference and LAN parties.

The industry-only conference, which runs on March 30th and 31st, has already attracted a number of luminaries from the US and Japanese development sector, including Grasshopper’s Goichi Suda, Q’s Tetsuya Mizuguchi and notables from LucasArts, Epic and Midway. Pandemic, Nana-On Sha and Epic are also involved.

Last week, the organizers of GO3 announced that early bird registration deadlines for the even had been extended to February 15th and has added a special rate for students.
