The Casual Games part of 2007's Game Developers Conference has been expanded to two days.

Casual games agenda grows at GDC

GDC’s Casual Games Summit now takes place from March 5th to 6th.

Casual Games Summit 101 takes palce on the first day, aimed at those who are new to casual games sessions via introductory sessions on design, art, technology and business. The second day is Casual Games Summit 201, for the veterans of this fast-growing sector.

A raft of associated companies are involved, with representatives from Adobe, Shockwave.com, Gamelab, GoPets, Microsoft, Nickelodeon, PopCap, Real, Sony Online Entertainment, Wild Tangent, Yahoo and Zylom speaking at the Summit.

It’s just one part of what’s gearing up to be a very busy week for games development, as the growing GDC takes over the San Francisco Moscone Center from March 5th to 9th – and Develop will be on hand at the event with a special show issue with dedciated distribution to delegates.
